After finding success with their first restaurant in the early 90s, brothers and professional chefs, Bruce and Eric Bromberg, expanded into new culinary endeavors, growing the Blue Ribbon brand into multiple restaurant concepts nationwide. Today, Bromberg Bros. Blue Ribbon Restaurants operates 20 eateries across the country, including multiple iterations of Blue Ribbon Sushi, Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken, and NYC’s famous Brooklyn Bowl.

 

Because Blue Ribbon Restaurants’ various concepts were operating on different POS platforms, the restaurant group came to CardFree in need of an on-premise EMV-compliant payment system to unify the payment process across locations, regardless of the POS. We worked with the Blue Ribbon team to deploy our Mobile POS platform via EMV device, enabling restaurant staff to easily take payments tableside. This system not only creates a uniform, simplified payment process for Blue Ribbon staff, but also allows for a better customer experience through faster payments and easy bill splits, eliminating the need to run payments through a central POS terminal.
