First opened in 1980 in Lincoln, NE, Amigos is a quick service Mexican restaurant founded with the goal of serving “fresh, quality food in a friendly way, just as you would to good friends.” In 2003, after growing the restaurant to 20 locations, the Amigos team decided to co-brand with another concept, Kings Classic, creating two restaurants in one — Amigos with a menu of fresh Mexican and Kings Classic offering American fast food standards like burgers and shakes.
Today, with 25 units in operation throughout Nebraska, Amigos/Kings Classic is focused on growing and streamlining their operation using CardFree’s Order Ahead and Order@Table platforms.
