Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, established in 2003, is a casual, family-friendly restaurant operating 51 locations throughout 8 states. Inspired by time spent in the Rocky Mountains by founder, Chris Simms, Lazy Dog aims to “share that small mountain town vibe” with diners across the country. On top of dishing up handcrafted food at their restaurants, the Lazy Dog team has come up with innovative ways to expand the brand outside of their restaurants’ four walls — guests can order retro-style frozen TV dinners for delivery, plus customers can join their beer club, a “membership program that gives members access to small-batch specialty beers, merchandise, and in-restaurant benefits.”

 

Lazy Dog initially came to CardFree in need of our Text-To-Pay solution to facilitate easy payments for phoned-in orders. Since then, Lazy Dog has enhanced its customer experience with a number of CardFree solutions, including Pay@Table for self-directed guest checkout, our EMV Plus Mobile POS device to enable staff-directed tableside orders and payments, and CardFree Checkout, creating a single streamlined checkout process for all orders.
