Merit Coffee, founded in 2009 under the name Local Coffee by husband and wife team, Robby and Neesha Grubbs, expanded and rebranded in 2018, updating their name to Merit Coffee. While Merit serves up some exceptional coffee at their community-focused cafes, Merit is not your standard neighborhood coffee joint — they take pride in roasting their own beans and shipping them fresh to consumers and wholesale partners across the country. The team is “obsessed with quality,” which is why they travel to the world’s finest coffee regions, working directly with farmers to source the best beans possible.

 

Today, Merit has a growing footprint with 13 cafe locations that leverage the convenience of CardFree’s turnkey order ahead native mobile app as well as a web app, both with loyalty integration, allowing guests to effortlessly order and pay, redeem loyalty points, and manage their rewards.
